How much will it cost to alter my Wedding Dress?
Prices for altering Wedding Dresses vary depending on how much or little work you would like or need on your dress. Our average Wedding Dress alteration cost is between £550-750. If you have lots of beading or lace on your dress, it will be on the higher end of the price range. For a more accurate quote message us or book in for a consultation.
How long does it take to alter my Wedding Dress?
We like to have your first fitting 6-7 weeks before your wedding date, this gives plenty of time for three fittings and for us to alter your dress to perfection. Rush alterations are available but you may be charged rush fees.
How do I book in for my alterations?
Do I need all three Wedding Dress fittings?
You may not need all three fittings that we book you in for, however, we book you in for three to ensure that everyone has that date reserved just in case it is needed. Some dresses can be altered in two fittings but we find that around 75% of our brides need the three fittings.
Can I bring other people to my fittings with me?
Yes, we highly recommend bringing someone with you who is going to make you feel amazing in your dress. Due to limited space we ask that you bring a maximum of two guests with you to your fittings.
What do I need to bring to my fitting?
You will need your dress, underskirt if wearing one, shoes, underwear (anyone with a bust cup of C or above must bring at least one bra option with them so that we can fit your dress) and any accessories you would like to try on with your dress.
When should I book in for my Wedding Dress Alterations?
As soon as you buy your dress. Our diary fills up quickly and we can only take on a certain number of dresses at a time to alter. We recommend booking with us as soon as you have ordered or purchased your dress to reserve your space.
Do I need a bra for my Wedding Dress Fittings?
For bust cup sizes of C or above, you will need extra support in your dress to ensure it looks beautiful all day long. We recommend bringing at least one bra with you to your fitting, if you are unsure about what bra option is best for you, please message us so that we can help. If you don't bring a bra with you and it is deemed needed with your dress we won't be able to complete your fitting.
